Bruce Jenner is still "a respected member of Team Wheaties."
General Mills, the company behind the cereal Wheaties, is standing by Bruce Jenner.
The 65-year-old former Olympian famously appeared on the iconic Wheaties cereal box -- dubbed "the breakfast of champions" -- in 1977, at the height of his sports fame. His impressive athletics career was highlighted last Friday, when Jenner confirmed in a much-watched interview with Diane Sawyer that he is transitioning from male to female.
"Bruce Jenner continues to be a respected member of Team Wheaties," a spokesman for General Mills told TheWrap in a statement on Thursday.

Wheaties boxes featuring Jenner have definitely turned into a hot commodity following his groundbreaking 20/20 interview. For example, a Wheaties box with the former Keeping Up with the Kardashians star on the cover is currently going for $400 on eBay, and already has 34 bids.
Since Bruce's big interview, he's continued to receive an outpouring of support, including from his ex-wives Chrystie Crownover and Linda Thompson. Linda Instagrammed a picture of the three of them together on Wednesday, all sporting big smiles.
