Lady Gaga Defends Justin Bieber: 'He's the Boss'

Just months after Justin Bieber was roasted on national television, Lady Gaga showed her support for the 21-year-old pop star and defended his character.

Mother Monster snapped a selfie with Bieber during Monday's Met Gala in New York City, and captioned it with kind words about her young peer.

"He really has a sweetness to him," Gaga, 29, Instagrammed. "He grew up in front of the whole world. I reminded him to not get bothered. Because at the end of the day, he's the boss, and life isn't always Roses. Lots of thorns."

The feelings seem to be mutual between Gaga and Bieber. This past July, the "Baby" singer was seen rollerskating to Gaga and R. Kelly's hit "Do What U Want" and, per usual, made quite the scene with his dance moves.
