The Billboard Music Awards are back! And this year is sure to be a good time as Chrissy Teigen (and you never know what she's going to say or do) and Ludacris are cohosting the show, which airs live this Sunday at 8pm ET on ABC.

Expect to see all your favorites perform – Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea, Mariah Carey, Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Imagine Dragons and more! Not to mention, the premiere of Taylor Swift's sure-to-be-epic music video premiere for "Bad Blood."
So let's get pre-gaming by remembering these eight wacky moments from Billboard Music Awards past.

1. An Army of Beyonces

Four years ago, just before being honored with Billboard's Millennium Award, Queen Bey wowed fans by giving a show-stopping performance of her powerful feminist anthem "Run The World (Girls)." Who joined her onstage? About a hundred other fierce Beyonces. The star's tech-savvy team used project mapping digital technology to allow the singer to summon an army of clones. Our vote: Virtually flawless!

2. The M.J. Hologram

Did you love it, or was it too creepy? Critics and fans were divided over Michael Jackson's surprise 2014 performance of  "Slave to the Rhythm," and that was largely because the pop legend had died five years before! Jackson's performance took tech wizards six months to plan. Not to mention the fact that 16 very much alive dancers had to figure out complicated choreography around the hologram King of Pop.

3. No Kindle For Kendall

In 2014, Billboard Awards viewers learned that Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kendall Jenner is, in her own words, "the worst reader." Her job was to introduce the up-and-coming Aussie boy band 5 Seconds Of Summer. But, something strange happened to Jenner's lips as she read the teleprompter. By which we mean: she flubbed the intro. Big time. This year, little sis Kylie is a presenter. Hmm. Anything strange happen with Kylie's lips lately?

4. Miguel's Bad Landing

In a 2013 moment more wack than wacky, R&B singer Miguel accidentally took a running leap and landed on top of fans while performing his hit “Adorn.” The singer was attempting to jump from one part of the stage to another, but misjudged the distance and slammed down on two women. The singer met the ladies backstage where, bizarrely, the trio gave an impromptu interview. However, more recently one of them filed a lawsuit.

5. Katy Perry's Birthday Bash

In 2014, superstar Perry hijacked the ceremony and turned it into a candy-colored birthday party. Though she was on tour in England, green-haired Perry pre-taped a delirious performance of  "Birthday." Perry and her dancers grooved atop a humongous birthday cake with candles that turned into stripper poles. She grabbed her boobs. Took a selfie. And, toward the end, she floated above the crowd on a zipline decked out in balloons. The wackiest part? Perry's birthday is in October.

6. J.Lo Gives 'Costume Change' New Meaning

It's not unusual that a singer does a costume change over the course of a night. During the 2014 ceremony, superstar Jennifer Lopez changed the game when she wore five different outfits in one evening. Lopez strolled the red carpet in a red chiffon Donna Karan gown. Inside the venue she donned a gold tasseled bodysuit to perform "We Are One (Ole Ola)" alongside Pitbull and Claudia Leitte. At some point there was also a fitted white dress, a sequined black body suit, a jumpsuit…

7. A Swift Response to PDA

Strolling into the venue two years ago, Taylor Swift caught a glimpse of Justin Bieber and his on-again/off-again girlfriend Selena Gomez in a quick lip-lock. Cameras caught Swift sticking out her tongue at the sight of it, and a celebrated GIF was born. In what could have been an awkward seating arrangement, Swift and Gomez sat right next to each other during the ceremony, but fans know the two are actually pals.

8. The Biebs Gets Booed

Poor Bieber. By 2013, his juvenile delinquent antics caused the public backlash against him to hit full throttle. When the singer approached the podium to accept Billboard's Milestone Award, he – and the television audience -- first heard applause, but that was followed by a nasty round of boos. After waiting a full minute for the noise to settle, a rattled Bieber acknowledged the haters in a rambling acceptance speech. "I'm 19 years old," Bieber said defensively. "I think I’m doing a pretty good job."
