La da di da di, the power of Miley...

Thank you, Miley Cyrus!

While we know that the 22-year-old singer is influential, it’s
hard to believe that she would have a part in getting Jane Fonda and Lily
Tomlin’s Netflix series, Grace and
Frankie
, renewed. But according to creator Marta Kauffman, we owe her our
gratitude.

“Let me say, it’s so awesome to do a show on Netflix,” Kauffman
told Variety, confirming the news
that the online streaming service picked up the show for a second season.
“Because two and a half weeks after we launched, Miley Cyrus does a tweet about
your show, and they call and say, ‘We’d like to do a season two.’ So yes, there
is a season two. We have Ted [Sarandos] and Miley to thank.”

Indeed, Miley did tweet about the new show, adding that “Jane
& Lily are so bad a$$.”
