Sofia Vergara & 12 More Stars Who Were on 'Entourage' Before They Were Famous

By
HBO

When Entourage first premiered on HBO in 2004, it
quickly became known for its notable celebrity guests in guest-starring or
cameo roles. Over the course of its eight seasons, everyone from Val Kilmer --
barely recognizable as a weed Sherpa -- to Jessica Alba, in a recurring role as
herself, appeared on the show.

Of course, Entourage, much like its female
predecessor, Sex and the City, also saw a number of actors pass through
the series “before they were famous.”

With Entourage the movie now in theaters, we’re
looking back on our favorite stars’ fleeting moments on the original HBO
series.

1. Leighton Meester

First Appearance: Season 1, Episode 2

Before she was a gossip girl, Meester had a recurring role
as a virginal pop singer interested in Vince. She appeared in three episodes
total -- two in season one and a one-episode return in season five.

HBO

2. Matt Dallas

First Appearance: Season 2, Episode 6

While he’s largely been out of the spotlight since Kyle
XY
went off the air in 2009, Dallas resurfaced when he came out as gay in
2013.

HBO

3. Peter Dinklage

First Appearance: Season 2, Episode 7

Though his appearance was a cameo as himself, Dinklage was
hardly the celebrated household name he is today thanks to his Emmy-winning
role as Tyrion Lannister on HBO’s Game of Thrones.

HBO

4. Jeremy Howard

First Appearance: Season 2, Episode 9

If you don’t immediately recognize Howard, it’s OK because
he was his hidden behind a bunch of CGI in his biggest role yet: Donatello in 2014's
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (and its upcoming sequel).

HBO

5. Rainn Wilson

First Appearance: Season 2, Episode 9

Wilson owes much of his career to HBO. One of the actor’s
first major recurring roles was on Six Feet Under. He followed up with
one episode of Entourage before finding massive success on The Office.

HBO

6. Malin Akerman

First Appearance: Season 3, Episode 6

There was a time when Akerman was a working actress on the brink
of stardom – yes, just like the character she played on HBO’s The Comeback.
Obviously those days, including her two-episode arc as Tori, are long behind
her.

HBO

7. Ken Jeong

First Appearance: Season 3, Episode 8

Jeong went from Coffee Shop Manager in Entourage to a
wannabe gangster in The Hangover to the worst Spanish teacher ever in Community
to the lead in his own series, Dr. Ken

HBO

8. Bella Thorne

First Appearance: Season 3, Episode 10

Thorne was only 9(!) when she appeared on the show. Now
she’s all grown up and fending off slashers in MTV’s adaptation of Scream.

HBO

9. Jayma Mays

First Appearance: Season 3, Episode 12

The Glee actress made an oh-so-brief appearance
before she found a recurring gig on Heroes and later became Emma
Pillsbury on Ryan Murphy’s hit musical comedy.

HBO

10. Sofia Vergara

First Appearance: Season 4, Episode 1

Back in 2007, future Mrs. Manganiello played
Village Girl.

HBO

11. Yvette Nicole Brown

First Appearance: Season 4, Episode 8

Surprisingly, Brown is the only other Community star
to appear on Entourage early in their career.

HBO

12. Gal Gadot

First Appearance: Season 6, Episode 2

The same year she first appeared in the Fast and Furious
franchise, she made a brief appearance on the HBO series. Now both are behind
her as she readies for superstardom as Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman,
her own Wonder Woman spinoff, and The Justice League franchise.

HBO

13. Blake Anderson

First Appearance: Season 8, Episode 3

The actor is having a moment right now thanks to Comedy
Central’s hilarious Workaholics and the upcoming summer film, Dope
