Looks like you can be friends with both Katy Perry and Taylor Swift.

Ellie Goulding recently caught some heat when she Instagrammed -- then deleted -- a photo of her hanging out with the "Dark Horse" singer, which some fans thought was an issue seeing as Ellie is close pals with Taylor.

And everyone knows Katy and Taylor have some bad blood.

But in a new interview with On Demand Entertainment, the 28-year-old "Love Me Like You Do" singer explains the real reason she deleted the controversial pic.

"No, I deleted that because I look bad in it," she says. "I think I was a bit drunk and I thought it wasn't a very good, um, example of myself."

"That's so funny that's even a thing," she laughs. "I delete things all the time. ... I post photos and then I go, 'No, I don't look very good,' then delete."

Ellie says there's no issues when it comes to being friends with both superstars.

"I'm great friends with Katy, I'm great friends with Taylor, that's very silly," she says about the rumors. "I mean, I'm very used to things being made up all the time, so, that's ridiculous."

Another big rumor Ellie's now clearing up is that Ed Sheeran's hit "Don't" -- about a girl he was seeing who ends up hooking up with his friend who's staying on the same hotel floor -- was written about her and One Direction's Niall Horan.

"I did go on a few dates with Niall, but I was never in a relationship with Ed," she tells Elle UK, covering the magazine's July 2015 issue. "I have absolutely no idea where that came from and why it was turned into such a big thing."

But if you ask the "Thinking Out Loud" singer, he might have a very different opinion. Ellie and Ed were spotted holding hands at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, and the British crooner told Washington radio station Click 98.9, "I mean, normal people don't hold hands if they're just friends. It was going on. And now it's not."

Ed also did nothing to quell the love triangle rumors during an interview with Howard Stern last September. "That was the guy in One Direction, right?" Stern pressed about his song "Don't."

"Well, it depends which one you're talking about," Ed teased.
