The show will go on!

After undergoing a "horrendous" vocal chord surgery in May, Sam Smith is ready to get back out there and start singing his GRAMMY-winning hits.

On Tuesday, the "Stay With Me" singer announced via Twitter that he will restart his tour on July 3. "Absolutely cannot wait to perform live again, thank you all for waiting for me!!" Smith, 34, wrote.

"As you can see, I can speak, again for the first time in three weeks, and it has been horrible sitting in silence and knowing that I should be doing shows has killed me," he shared with his fans in a video posted to Twitter.

"I'm gonna try my absolute best to sing my heart out, every night," he promised before pleading with his fans to "please bear with me as always."

Smith revealed just how bad it was after his vocal surgery was during a BBC Radio 1 interview with Nick Grimshaw. "It was so bad. But I got through and everyone's been so amazing about it, so thank you," he said, calling the vocal break a "blessing in disguise."

When it came time for the 2015 Billboard Music Awards, Smith still couldn't talk but he still managed to have the best acceptance speech of the night. Check it out:
