Prepare to rock out with pride!
On Saturday, June 27, Logo returns with its second annual Trailblazer Honors celebrating voices that have had a transformative impact on LGBT rights.
To help celebrate, ETonline can exclusively announce that Adam Lambert will be performing “Ghost Town,” his new single from the upcoming album, The Original High, out on June 16. (The music video first premiered on ETonline.)
A trailblazer in his own right, Lambert is the first out LGBT artist to have a No. 1 hit on the Billboard 200 albums chart. In 2014, he was honored with the GLAAD Davidson/Valentini Award for his work with LGBT youth.
Also presenting is The View co-host Raven-Symone. The actress recently returned to the spotlight with notable back-to-back guest appearances on Black-ish and Empire as well as serving as a guest co-host on the long-running ABC daytime talk show before landing a permanent gig.
All will be on hand to honor several soon-to-be announced Trailblazers, including a new distinction: Social Trailblazer. For the first time, Logo will allow fans to vote on one of four nominees, Connor Franta, Joey Graceffa, Jackson Bird, and Gaby Dunn, in order to recognize those who have paved a new, accepting path on social media.
Last year’s Trailblazer Honors featured appearances by President Clinton, Daniel Radcliffe, Joe Manganiello, and Sia, while honoring Laverne Cox, NBA player Jason Collins, and Edie Windsor, among others.
Logo will air Trailblazer Honors on Saturday, June 27 at 8 p.m.
