President Obama Jokes With The Black Keys on Twitter, Invites Them to Play at White House

We all know that President Obama has the hippest taste in music of any president ever! That's why it hardly surprised fans when he revealed during a Twitter Q&A on Wednesday that one of his favorite songs right now is "Lonely Boy" by The Black Keys.

The fun started when the GRAMMY winning indie rock duo retweeted the president, then slipped in a request to use Air Force One for the band's upcoming gigs. Wouldn't you?

Not to be be outdone, Obama -- who has a well-documented sense of humor -- explained the he couldn't share the plane. "(It's) just a loaner," he joked. But, in a surprising twist, he invited the band to play a gig at the White House!

So far, the rockers haven't responded. Maybe they're packing up their gear?

The president's new indie-rock pals might impress his music-loving daughter Malia, who went to Lollapalooza last summer in her native Chicago.

Then again, Malia, who turns 17 today, has been rubbing elbows with the Hollywood elite for a while now. The teen was just spotted in Brooklyn, where she's spending the summer interning on the set of Lena Dunham's HBO hitGirls. Last summer, she was a production assistant on the Steven Spielberg-produced show Extant.
