Billy Joel's tune "She's Got a Way" just took on a whole new meaning!
The iconic piano man married girlfriend Alexis Roderick in a secret wedding at their Long Island estate on Saturday.
Joel and Roderick surprised a close group of family and friends when they exchanging vows at their annual Fourth of July party, the singer's rep told ET.
New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, a longtime friend of the singer, presided over the nuptials. The intimate group included Alexa Ray, Joel's 29-year-old daughter with ex-wife Christie Brinkley, and actor Kevin James.
Roderick, 33, is a former Morgan Stanley executive and equestrian. She is pregnant with the couple's first child, a girl, and is due later this summer.
Brinkley, Joel's second wife, seemed to wish the newlyweds well while also throwing a subtle dig at Roderick in an Instagram post. "Congratulation[s] to the glowing bride and groom," the 61-year-old model wrote. "And to my daughter Alexa, who has a wonderful friend in Alexis! Wishing the growing family every happiness!"
Joel probably isn't thinking twice about Brinkley's photo caption -- after all, he's in the middle of one busy, happy summer! The New York native is currently on tour and just broke Elton John's record for the most shows played at Madison Square Garden -- a not remotely shabby 65 concerts at the iconic arena.
Congratulations all around!
