Watch your gibberish, Minion!

Minions are those adorable little yellow things we all learned about in Despicable Me. After winning over your children's hearts one nonsensical phrasing at a time, the Minions got their own feature film, Minions.

You'd think they'd be pretty gracious about it, but apparently some people believe one of their McDonald's toys curses at your children.

OK, so the jury's still out on that, but many people think it sounds like the cute little caveminion is saying "What the f*ck," and some parents are pretty upset about it.

Now, some people took it a step further and attempted to debunk the foul-mouthed minion theory, by slowing down the audio. You can watch the video below and decide if you can glean a definitive answer. To us, it just sounds like chipmunk Darth Vader dying.

In a statement to ETonline, a McDonald's spokesperson said the reports of the cursing minion have been "exaggerated."

"The Minion Caveman Happy Meal toy includes 3 sounds: 'para la bukay,' 'hahaha,' and 'eh eh,'" they said. "We're aware of a very small number of customers who have been in touch regarding this toy, and we regret any confusion or offense to those who may have misinterpreted its sounds. The allegation that this toy is saying anything offensive or profane is not true."

We don't know though... wouldn't be the first time the tiny beings engaged in crass humor...
