Ben Affleck Makes Comic-Con Appearance After Jennifer Garner Split, Still Wears Wedding Ring

Ben Affleck made his first public appearance since splitting with wife Jennifer Garner at Saturday morning’s Comic-Con panel in Hall H for Warner Bros. and DC’s anticipated superhero showdown, Batman v Superman.

The 42-year-old actor-director, who was joined by co-stars Henry Cavill, Amy Adams and Gal Gadot, was still wearing his wedding ring, which those in attendance couldn’t help but note.

There were some funny moments from the panel, which included the debut of a brand-new three-minute trailer!

Like the time Affleck recalled director Zack Snyder’s explanation as to why he was the perfect guy to play Batman.

Or the unusual advice he got from Christian Bale about playing the caped crusader.

Affleck, who will be directing and starring in his own standalone Batman film, got seal of approval from the cast of Gotham, Fox’s Batman prequel series.

"We definitely give the seal of approval – very excited," Gotham star Ben McKenzie told ETonline when the cast dropped by ET’s Comic-Con video suite at the Hard Rock Hotel, praising DC Entertainment head Geoff Johns. "I think Affleck and Geoff Johns are going to be awesome together." (Watch this video for that interview!)

Just a few days ago, Affleck was spotted spending quality time with his 9-year-old daughter Violet in Atlanta and was also seen posing for photos with fans.

Affleck is said to be living in the guest house of the Atlanta home Garner is staying at while she shoots her upcoming film Miracles From Heaven.

Despite announcing their divorce, Affleck and Garner have been spotted wearing their wedding bands on various occasions.

Fans waiting all night to get into Hall H got a special treat when Snyder drove by in the new Batmobile, handing out Batman v Superman T-shirts.
