Josh Duggar and Wife Anna Welcome Baby Girl Meredith Grace

This must come as some very welcomed news for the Duggar family!

Josh Duggar took to Twitter to announce the birth of his and wife Anna Duggar's daughter, Meredith Grace, Sunday afternoon.

"Anna and Meredith are resting & doing well!" Josh wrote of his wife and newborn, who weighed in at 7 lbs., 14 oz., and measured 20.5 inches long.

Josh, 27, also shared a close-up of the newborn.

The baby girl is the fourth child in Duggar's brood, which also includes her big siblings Mackynzie, 5, Michael, 4, and Marcus, 2.

Just last week, the Duggar family posted a photo on Facebook comparing the then-overdue Anna, 27, with her sister-in-law Jessa (Duggar) Seewald's baby bump.

The baby news comes three days after TLC announced they were canceling19 Kids and Counting, the reality show that made the Duggar family famous. Josh has been at the center of the controversy since news of his molestation scandal came to light in May.

Jessa and sister Jill (Duggar) Dillard -- who is currently in Central America with her husband Derick Dillard and their son Israel on a Christian mission -- were two of the girls Josh was accused of molesting as a teenager.

Anna has stood by her man, and the family appears to be trying to move past the scandal as best they can.
