Jennifer Aniston did things very differently the second time around!

After exchanging vows in a secret ceremony Wednesday night, the 46-year-old Friends star is in Bora Bora with her 43-year-old husband, Justin Theroux, to celebrate their honeymoon.

It’s well-known that this was not Jennifer’s first trip down the aisle – the 46-year-old actress was famously married to ex Brad Pitt for five years. Let's kick it back to the Pitt-Aniston ceremony from July 29, 2000, and examine the major similarities and differences between her two big days!

DIFFERENCE: The openness.

ET's camera crew was invited to cover the arrivals of Brad and Jennifer's big day. Over 200 guests arrived, many of whom took photographs.

Cut to 2015, where the whole occasion was kept under wraps. Despite Aniston insisting on The Ellen Degeneres Show that she'd let them know it was a wedding, guests were told it was a birthday party for Justin, who turns 44 on August 10. It took a little white lie to make the night go off without a hitch!

DIFFERENCE: The setting.

In 2000, Jennifer and Brad married at a borrowed Malibu home.

This time around, Jen held the ceremony at her and Theroux’s place in Los Angeles’ swanky Bel Air community.

SIMILARITY: Famous musical acts.

Jen got Melissa Etheridge and a 12-year-old Frank Sinatra impersonator to play her wedding in 2000. On Wednesday, Sia performed for the happy couple’s 70 close friends and family until 1 a.m.

DIFFERENCE: The guest list.

Along with Jennifer’s Friends co-stars, Salma Hayek, her then boyfriend Edward Norton and Cameron Diaz were among the guests seen entering the 2000 ceremony. This time around, Will Arnett, Lake Bell, Jason Bateman, Ellen DeGeneres, Tobey Maguire and Jimmy Kimmel were spotted. There was one major similarity, however…

SIMILARITY: The BFF!

Courteney Cox was at both weddings. This time, she was even reportedly the maid-of-honor.

That choice comes as no surprise, as the two have been extremely close since their Friends days. In fact, Jen gushed about their friendship in February to More Magazine. "She's extremely fair, ridiculously loyal and fiercely loving," she said. "She's been there for me through thick and thin."

DIFFERENCE: The decor.

Jen's wedding was much less traditional the second time around. In 2000, the theme was a white wedding, but the 2015 nuptials featured red candles and a flower dinner. Even the cakes were markedly different: Jen and Brad had a six-tiered, formal confection, while Jen and Justin topped their cake with a Muppet bride-and-groom.

Jen and Brad finished their nights with a lavish, heart-shaped fireworks display. In a sign that the Wanderlust co-stars are a lot more chill, on Wednesday night, the woodland trees outside of Jen's home were simply glimmering with lovely lights.

SIMILARITY: Jen is amazing.

Jennifer has been amazing at both of her weddings, as well as in her life up to this point. We wish her and Justin nothing but the best as they keep on being amazing together!
