Jessa Duggar is turning to her faith in the face of controversy surrounding her family.

The 19 Kids and Counting star took to Instagram on Sunday to post a photo of a passage from the bible, specifically 1 John 1:6, which reads "If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth."

"If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanest us from all sin," The passage continues. "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Many are speculating that the post is in reference to the scandal facing her older brother Josh Duggar, who recently admitted to cheating on his wife Anna, having a porn addiction, and being "the biggest hypocrite ever."

The confession came after a security breach at AshleyMadison.com revealed that Josh had two accounts with the site -- whose stated purpose is helping married people find partners to have affairs with.

It's possible Jessa is hoping Josh finds forgiveness in the wake of his confession of infidelity.
