Here is a video of a 2-year-old boy named Isaiah playing a spontaneous game of hide-and-seek with a baby lowland gorilla at the Columbus Zoo in Ohio. Who knew gorillas were so good at playtime?

To justify feeling warmhearted watching this, know that while it’s certainly not ideal for any wild animal to live in captivity, west lowland gorillas are severely endangered due to poaching, disease, and deforestation. Many also say that the Columbus Zoo acts more as an animal sanctuary than a zoo, per se, and is focused on conservation. So there’s that.
