Presidential hopefuls Hilary Clinton, Donald Trump and Kanye West have nothing on Zooey Deschanel's infant daughter.
The New Girl star took to Twitter Friday to announce that her newborn will be throwing her blankie into the race for President of the United States.

"My infant daughter is going to run for president," Deschanel wrote. "She remains silent all of the key issues but she’s much cuter than Donald Trump."

— zooey deschanel (@ZooeyDeschanel) September 4, 2015The 35-year-old actress and her husband, Jacob Pechenik, welcomed their daughter over the summer. Like their top-secret marriage, the two have kept the details about their first child, including her name, confidential.
The playful news followed Deschanel's tweet about the new trailer for Rock the Kasbah, the upcoming movie she's co-starring in with Bill Murray. It was the first time she has been on Twitter since announcing the season four finale of New Girl.

Joke or not, it would be adorable to see Deschanel's daughter run for POTUS. The baby's campaign would have to compete with Kanye West's acceptance speech for the VMA Video Vanguard Award, however.
