The 65-year-old former Olympian chatted with Today show co-anchor Matt Lauer, and admitted that there has been some awkward responses to her living as a transgender woman.

"I think women are more tolerant,'' Jenner said. "They just kind of get it. Male friends, I didn't have a lot of 'em. I mostly hung out with women, but I think it's just more complicated for guys to deal with this subject."

The I Am Cait star still enjoys all the hobbies she did as Bruce Jenner, including golf, which she played with Lauer. She says people might be uncomfortable at first, "until they get to know me."
