The 2015 NFL season officially kicks off today! The opener will feature the defending Super Bowl champs, the New England Patriots, hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Millions across the country will be tuning in, and we’ve compiled a list of female celebrities who will be rooting for their favorite teams.
1. Gisele Bündchen
Not surprisingly, Gisele will be rooting for her man -- Patriots QB Tom Brady. She stuck by his side through Deflategate and the couple seems stronger than ever these days.
2. Alyssa Milano
Alyssa, part of the NFL’s new apparel campaign, can’t wait to cheer on the New York Giants with the family. In fact, while shooting a campaign video for the stylish new NFL line, she said Sundays are reserved for watching football.
“Sunday has always represented family for me,” she shared, adding, “It's always represented the family being together and watching football.”
3. Jessie James Decker
The singer will be cheering on a different NFL team from the Big Apple – the New York Jets. Her husband, Eric Decker, is the team's wide receiver.
4. Kristin Cavallari
The former Laguna Beach starlet will also be rooting for her man from the sidelines. Hubby Jay Cutler plays quarterback for the Chicago Bears.
5. Erin Heatherton
Just like Kristin, the supermodel is also a fan of the Windy City team.
6. Jennifer Lopez
In 2009, J.Lo’s ex-hubby, Marc Anthony, became a minority owner of the Miami Dolphins. The pair joined owner Steve Ross to make the announcement and were given honorary Dolphin jerseys.
Fergie is also a fan of the Miami Dolphins. She’s performed at numerous Dolphin halftime shows, and in 2009, was also approved as a limited partner for the NFL team.
8. Jamie Chung
Jamie spends most of her time in Los Angeles and New York, but the San Francisco 49ers have a life-long fan in the 32-year-old actress. While shooting an NFL apparel campaign video, she gushed over the NorCal team’s fandom.
“I live in Los Angeles and in New York,” she explained, “and I don’t know if you’ve ever experienced being in a different city and seeing someone else rocking the same colors and the same cap, but there's certainly a camaraderie.”
9. Naya Rivera
It’s a family affair for the former Glee starlet. Her brother, Mychal Rivera, is a tight end for the Oakland Raiders.
