See the First Photo of Michelle Pfeiffer as Robert De Niro's Wife in HBO's Bernie Madoff Movie

The first photo of Robert De Niro and Michelle Pfeiffer as the Madoffs is finally here, and it’s a questionably accurate take on the infamous couple.

The veteran actors are taking on the roles of Bernie and Ruth Madoff in the upcoming HBO telepic, The Wizard of Lies, and as far as hairstyles and outfits go, the picture looks pretty on point.

The age difference, however, is not. Bernie is 77-years-old and wife Ruth is a mere three years younger, while there is a 15-year age gap between 72-year-old Robert and 57-year-old Michelle.

That says more about Hollywood than it does for Michelle, but still, it's a pretty juicy role that she's scooped up. It's also a film reunion for her and Robert, who starred together in 2013's The Family.

The Wizard of Lies, which takes a deep look at Bernie's gigantic Ponzi scheme and how it affected both the victims and his family, isn't the only Madoff movie coming, however. Richard Dreyfuss and Blythe Danner will be taking on the same roles for the ABC miniseries, Madoff, which airs later in 2016.

The real question is, which version of the Madoffs are you more excited to watch -- HBO's or ABC's?
