During Sunday's episode of Don't Be Tardy, Kim Zolciak's 13-year-old daughter, Ariana Biermann, declared that she doesn't think she needs her parents looking after her anymore. But does her mother feel the same?

ET caught up with Zolciak at the season 21 premiere of Dancing With the Stars, where the mom-of-six admitted that her daughter is "very independent."

"Ariana just kind of says stuff," she said of her middle school daughter, adding, "I don't doubt that at 18 she will move out for sure."

Ariana seems to think she'll be moving out earlier, according to what was said on the family's Bravo reality show. "I found out that you can be emancipated when you're 16 and I really like that," she said, "because my parents are very strict."

Kim, 37, doesn't see that happening. "I mean, at this point, she knows she's got a pretty good situation," she told ET. "I am strict, but you're 13, honey."

While Kim doesn't seem too concerned with her daughter's threats, Ariana was pretty serious about her intentions to move out at 16.

"If my mom ever tells me she's pregnant with a seventh child, I'm leaving," she said on Don't Be Tardy. "I have to babysit way more often than I want to. I very rarely leave the house. I want to be able to go to the movies with my friends, or go to the mall like all my friends do, but my parents like to keep me at home with all the babies."

Ariana added that she'd like to move in with her sister, 18-year-old Brielle Biermann. "We'll see in three years. ...If Brielle could raise me, I'd go," she said. "I want to be emancipated at 16. I'm out of this house."

Kim says on the show that she thinks her daughter just wants to talk to boys.

"I parent Ariana a lot different than I do Brielle. Ariana is the biggest help to me as far as helping out with the babies," Kim admitted. "She's a really good girl. If anybody's the golden child, I guess it would probably be Ariana. You know, she's grown up really, really quick, and I'm trying to slow her down a little bit. I want her to stay a child as long as I can, and I don't want to lose her in the process of being a teenager."

Emancipated or not, Kim has her child's back. In August, the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star defended Ariana from those commenting on her daughter's body.

"What possesses you to sit behind a computer and write a negative comment?!!!! Can you imagine if you took the time to write something positive or nothing at all? How wonderful this world would be!!!" she Instagrammed to her 1.5 million followers. "You leave my baby alone, she is a child!!!! Got it!!!"
