Kim Zolciak is at home and on the road to recovery after being taken to the hospital on Wednesday for a mini-stroke.
"I want to thank everyone for their love and support over the past few days," Zolciak told ET through a statement from her rep. "I am now home with my family, resting and taking care of my health. I can't express enough how much I love dancing and this whole experience, and I hope this will not be the end of dancing."
The 37-year-old reality star was competing on Dancing with the Stars until her health scare forced her to take a break from the competition. Although Zolciak wants to put her dancing shoes back on, it is hasn’t been confirmed if she will be able to continue on with the show this season.
Since the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star couldn't make it to the dance floor while in recovery, her supportive dance partner, Tony Dovolani, brought the dance floor to her. "This guy @tonydovolani has been by my side for 2 days!” she wrote on Instagram. "He even brings me my favorite coffee. Although he is always dancing around the room. LOL he keeps me smiling! So blessed to be surrounded by such great people. Want to go home so bad! Hopefully tomorrow! #GoingStirCrazy #BlessingInDisguse"
The mother of six has been keeping her fans updated about her health on her Instagram account, including one last selfie from the hospital bed before she was released. "Going in for one more procedure, things are looking up! Don't let the oxygen scare you it's just protocol" she wrote. "I wanted THANK all of you for the love! I feel so overwhelmed with all the texts, comments etc. I'm so grateful to have all of you! #TheyDontCallMeToughieForNothing."
