The Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador and her husband, David, sat down with Andy Cohen for a special Watch What Happens Live Monday night, where they dropped bombshells about their relationship.
"I don't think that people understand the level of hurt," Shannon said about David's cheating scandal, which came out on the show in June. "When David left me for those two weeks he would still come and pick the kids up from school. One day he handed Stella his wedding ring, and said, 'Give this to your mother. I don't want it anymore.' That was a knife in my heart. I thought, 'We're never going to get back together.'"
David admitted that he was not proud of his actions.
"It was horrific," David said.
In an episode of RHOC from this past summer, Shannon revealed that the affair lasted eight months. On Monday's WWHL, Shannon said that the woman actually called her one time.
"In that conversation I wanted to say certain things, but I didn't. I said, 'I want my family back,'" Shannon recalled. "Her response was: 'He's obsessed with me, he's like, he wants to marry me, and I don't even know the guy.' And it wasn't kind. It wasn't a kind conversation."
When ET caught up with Shannon over the summer, she confirmed that things are back on the right track.
"We're in such a happy place. That's what it's all about," Shannon said. "It's great today."
