Val for President?

If you don’t know Val the bartender, you clearly missed Hillary Clinton’s epic appearance on Saturday Night Live this past weekend. Clinton played Val opposite Kate McKinnon’s Clinton. If that all sounds confusing, just watch it:

The sketch pokes fun at Clinton's often criticized demeanor, with McKinnon’s Clinton telling Val she’s “really easy to talk to” -- to which Val quips, “That’s the first time I’ve ever heard that.” -- and “real, and smart, and really nice in person.”

Now, according to CBS News, the presidential hopeful is taking Val on the campaign trail. At a town hall on Monday, when a woman asked if she could call the former Secretary of State “Hillary,” Clinton quipped, “Or you can call me Val.”

Then, on Tuesday, she opened a stump speech by saying, "It's good to be back. I've been trying out different possible careers. You know, I kind of like the bartending idea."

She even busted out Val’s Donald Trump impression, at the request of a man at one of her campaign events. “Uhhh, you’re a loser,” she said to apparently huge applause. Nailed it, Val!

One of the writers of the sketch, Chris Kelly, tweeted that the news was “SO WEIRD AND COOL.” (The other writer is Sarah Schneider -- fun fact, they’re the duo behind “The Beygency” and “Back Home Ballers.”)

Pluss, ET found out whether Clinton prefers Amy Poehler or Kate McKinnon’s impression of her:
