The 61-year-old TV legend is getting a head start on the holidays by sharing some pretty great tips on how to be the hostess with the mostess come November.

"It's a really big deal at my house," Oprah says of the food-heavy holiday. "I have a table that seats 22 and last year 21 of my daughters from South Africa were all gathered around the table with our other friends celebrating what it means to be family."

While she admits that her favorite Thanksgiving dish is stuffing, she also reveals a tip she got from an A-list actor on how to keep your guests happy as soon as they arrive.

"The first thing I do is offer champagne when people come to the door or if you don't drink, a glass of sparkling water," Oprah says. "I learned from John Travolta's 50th birthday party that starting with some kind of beverage helps people feel welcome and invited."

Oprah loves her champagne! Viola Davis recently revealed that the Queen of Talk gifted her with a case of Jay Z's bubbly, Armand de Brignac champagne (a.k.a. Ace of Spades), and you won't believe what it costs! "Oprah does everything big," Davis gushed. "You know, Oprah's got a lot of money."
