Sad news for former Lost actress Kiele Sanchez and her husband, former Friday Night Lights star Zach Gilford.
Sanchez, 37, suffered a late-term miscarriage, ET can confirm. The two were expected to welcome their first child together, a baby boy, next month.
"We regretfully confirm that Zach Gilford and Kiele Sanchez recently lost their child to a late-term miscarriage," the couple's rep tells ET. "No additional details will be made available. We thank everyone in advance for their sensitivity and discretion during this difficult time."

The Kingdom star announced she was expecting at the Television Critics Association press tour in August.
"I am playing a woman who is pretty detached from the thing that's growing inside her, and I couldn't be more excited about my pregnancy," Sanchez said at the time. "So when I slip into [my character] Lisa, I'm at odds with this thing down here. It's something that I think that she, at certain points, really questions her decision to keep it, which couldn't be further from my own life."
"So it's a weird, strange, strange thing, especially when he kicks during a scene, you have to go on as if this thing didn't just move inside your body," she added. "So it's bizarre."

Sanchez and Gilford, 33, married in December 2012 in Sonoma, California. The two met in 2010 when they worked together on The Matadors, an ABC pilot that never made air.
