The radio and TV personality posted an Instagram shot of a special invitation that Meredith -- who works at Seacrest’s nonprofit, The Ryan Seacrest Foundation -- sent him, which features a sweet poem asking her to play a major role in her upcoming wedding.

"I have a role in my sister’s wedding," Seacrest, captioned the pic. "Just shed tear. Love u mere."

The poem reads:

I’m on my way to say "I do,"
and wanted to talk about me and you.

You’ve been by my side all of my life,
and I would want you anywhere else, when I become a wife.

I’m so lucky to have you as my brother,
and couldn’t imagine celebrating with anyone other.

So basically what I’m trying to say…
Will you be my Man of Honor on my special day?!

Seacrest spoke to People in August about his parents’ long-lasting marriage and his goals for a happy relationship.

"I look at what my mom and dad have had for 40-plus years – a fantastic relationship and great marriage," said the 40-year-old media mogul, who split from Dancing With the Stars judge Julianne Hough in 2013 and is currently dating 23-year-old model and trainer Shayna Taylor. "Someday I'd like that. They're my role models."
