All that we want is Britney's version of 'All That She Wants.'

It's the '90s cover we never knew we needed! (But now we definitely do.)

Apparently, Britney Spears recorded a cover of Ace of Base's 1993 hit "All That She Wants," but it was never released. Talk about a tease!

In an ABC News "Where Are They Now" feature on Ace of Base, former Mega Records executive Martin Dodd -- who worked with both the Swedish pop quartet and the now 33-year-old singer early in their careers -- claimed that Spears recorded her own version of the band's breakout single around 2007.

"They wanted to release it, but that was a difficult time for her," said Ace of Base founding member Ulf Ekberg, hinting at the troubled year for the star. "It was only in Denmark, never finished and didn't end up on her album. It was cool though. She took the choruses, took away the verses and wrote new ones about her mom. It was very strong."

OK, amid a public divorce and blaring tabloid headlines, 2007 may not have been an ideal time to release the cover. But with Spears now back in the studio working on her next album, we can't help but hope for a new nostalgia track to bring us back to those '90s glory days.

Ball's in your court, Brit!

In the meantime, Spears is returning to acting for a guest spot on her favorite show, Jane the Virgin. ET caught up with star Gina Rodriguez to spill details about Spears' appearance.
