Ellen Page and her girlfriend, Samantha Thomas, are getting used to the pitter "patter" of little feet -- from their new dog, that is!
Page was spotted with Thomas at Healthy Spot in West Hollywood, California, on Friday, carrying a cute furry friend and a plush dog bed. A source tells ET that they seemed very happy, smiling the whole time.
Page took to Instagram to share the exciting news and, of course, announce his adorable name.
"So excited to bring home Patter today," the 28-year-old actress wrote. "Thank you @perfect_pet_rescue."
Thomas also couldn't help herself from posting a photo.
The couple adopted the 14-week-old puppy from Perfect Pet Rescue, a non-profit dog adoption organization based in Los Angeles. And by the looks of it, he's already feeling right at home!
Perfect Pet Rescue also took to social media to give an update on the adoption, letting their followers know that the precious pup found his "forever home."
Patter made his first appearance on the organization's page on Tuesday. "4lb, 14week old little Patter is hanging out in our office today #adoptme #rescue #perfectpet," the caption read.
Page and Thomas aren't the only actresses who brought home a dog this week. Kaley Cuoco also took to Instagram on Friday to announce that she, too, made a visit to an adoption center.
"Welcome to the family Chester Cuoco!!!!," the 29-year-old actress captioned a pic of her snuggling with her new pet. "Thank you @pawworks #couldnthelpmyself#savethemall#iblamemymomforshowingmehispicture."
According to the Paw Works Instagram page, Chester is a 4-year-old terrier mix who is "an awesome boy" and "incredibly sweet." "Thank you Kaley Cuoco for adopting Chester today," the organization wrote. "You are the second miracle in his life. Dreams do come true!"
Last month, the Big Bang Theory actress nearly "died" of excitement when she was covered in puppies during her appearance on The Tonight Show. Watch the video below to see her cute reaction.
