You're on notice, LIBERALS.

Things escalated quickly on Jeopardy last week when host Alex Trebek showed a picture of a flower along with the prompt, "The flower pictured here is called this, also a disparaging term for people on the political left."

Not able to come up with the correct answer, "Bleeding Heart," one contestant decided to have a little mischievous fun with her answer.

When in doubt, call all liberals "pansies." To be fair, it IS a disparaging term!

"You have found a way to insult liberals in this country," Trebek joked. "And you're incorrect."

But before you go thinking we have found Conservatism's next big icon, do note that the contestant in question is an NPR producer named Becky Sullivan, who explained on Twitter that she didn't mean the answer as an insult, writing, "OK here's the deal with pansy: I actually didn't know bleeding heart was a flower. I just put the only flower I knew that was also an insult."

Well congrats, Sullivan. You just gave up your shot at being front runner for the Republican nomination (You're safe for now, Donald Trump).

"Second place still gets me two grand though. Worth it. Sean did great," Sullivan continued.

And then Sullivan decided that if she was going down, she was taking the whole show with her, writing, "Insider info: this thirty seconds of footage with the Jeopardy "music" where we're thinking and writing had to be re-taped. IT'S ALL FAKE."
