Rihanna is headed back to the big screen!

The 27-year-old has scored a role opposite Cara Delevingne, Dane DeHaan and Clive Owen in the upcoming epic Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets. Director Luc Besson spilled the tea on his Instagram account on Wednesday.

According to the director, Rih has a "big part" in the film and he's (understandably) "sooo excited" to be working with her. He did not reveal any juicy details about the role, but Variety reports that filming begins in France next January.

The casting marks a bit of a reunion for pals Rihanna and Delevingne, who were spotted partying together just two days ago in an Instagram video posted by Azealia Banks.

Valerian, which is adapted from a graphic novel, is scheduled to hit theaters on July 21, 2017 -- which leaves plenty of time for Rih to finish up that long awaited new album and maybe even squeeze in a tour.

Though, to be fair, the "Bitch Better Have My Money" singer did show off some badass acting chops in her latest music video.
