'Real Housewives of Dallas' Is Happening!

By
Bravo

Atlanta, Beverly Hills, Orange County, New York City, New Jersey and… Dallas?

The Real Housewives
reality series is taking on another new location, and ET confirmed on Friday that all the drama will be going down in the Texas city. Even better, the new installment of the Bravo franchise may be coming to TV earlier than expected, as filming has reportedly already wrapped!

"All of the filming has been done, and it will be announced soon," a source confirmed to Us Weekly, which broke the story earlier today. This would mark the first time The Real Housewives filmed in the Southern state.

Bravo had previously announced Ladies of Dallas, a Ladies of London sister series, which ET confirmed to be in production earlier this year. Now, it looks like that show will air as part of The Real Housewives franchise.

Last week, talk show host and executive producer Andy Cohen teased a new show during an interview on Reality Checked With Amy Phillips on SiriusXM.

"I do [think there will be a new Housewives city], sooner than you think," he said.

Following the interview, the official Twitter account for Cohen's Radio Andy show tweeted, "Another housewives franchise, you say?! VERY SOON, YOU SAY?!?!?!" In addition to the Dallas location, Bravo is also gearing up for The Real Housewives of Cheshire, which premieres Nov. 14.

While no other details have been announced on the Dallas show just yet, it's safe to assume that we should start preparing ourselves for even more drama to unfold. After all, everything is bigger in Texas, right?

In more exciting news from the franchise, Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams is coming back to the show full-time for season eight. ETonline recently caught up with the reality TV star, where she talked about her much-anticipated return.

"You know what? It feels like I'm back on reality TV all over again, for the first time," she said. "Last year was a nice little break … but, this season, I do have a lot going on that they follow. So it's, you know, a little more invasive as far as what they're covering."

She also revealed that fans can expect to see a less filtered version of her this season, as she is recently single after ending her marriage with NFL pro Kordell Stewart.

"I'm single and I am totally speaking for Porsha," she explained. "I am saying and doing and living my life exactly how I want, with no apologies … which leads me to be very opinionated and expressive."
