Smith Walker is setting the record straight about his relationship with the 'Real Housewives of Orange County' star.
Vicki Gunvalson’s rumored new man is speaking out.
"Contrary to media reports that are circulating, Vicki Gunvalson and I are not in a relationship,” Smith Walker, who was spotted on a double date with the Real Housewives of Orange County star over the weekend, said in a statement through Gunvalson’s rep on Monday.
Gunvalson and Walker were spotted out together at The Ranch in Anaheim, California on Friday night. An eyewitness told ET that the pair spent time on the dance floor, as well as at a reserved table with another couple.
“She looked really happy with this guy!” the eyewitness said. “He was by her side the whole time they were there.”
According to Walker, the pair have only been on the one double date together, “and that’s it.” He says the pair have been friends for years, beginning when Vicki was married to ex-husband Donn Gunvalson, whom she divorced in 2014.
“I met Vicki five years ago during the taping of Season 5, while she was married to Donn,” Walker’s statement continues. “I found myself in town visiting my son this past weekend and decided to see if Vicki was doing okay after having a hard year. Along with another couple, Vicki and I went out dancing.”
The 53-year-old reality star has also been involved in a tumultuous on-again off-again relationship with Brooks Ayers, who came under scrutiny from RHOC cast members last season when they speculated that Ayers had been lying about having cancer.
The pair split for good in August, and during a recent RHOC reunion special, Gunvalson was adamant about not getting back together with Ayers, mumbling, “So glad it’s over,” when a clip of her ex defending himself aired.
Gunvalson’s rep added Monday that “Vicki is currently very happy and focusing on her family and business.”
