'American Horror Story' Renewed by FX for Season 6!

Get ready for another season of thrills and chills!

FX's most-watched series, American Horror Story, has been renewed for a sure-to-be twisted sixth season.

The network announced on Tuesday morning that the Ryan Murphy-helmed show will return in 2016 with a brand new chapter.

As of now, the next theme of the anthology drama has not been revealed, but you can bet it will bring some of your darkest fears to life.

"With the sixth installment coming next year, American Horror Story has unquestionably joined the ranks of television’s landmark series," John Landgraf, CEO of FX Networks and FC Productions said in a press release.

"From Murder House to Hotel, AHS has pioneered a new television form as well becoming FX’s highest rated show -- while also pushing every conceivable boundary of creative excellence and audacity," Landgraff added.


American Horror Story
airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
