The Portokalos family is back in the trailer for My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2, the sequel to the 2002 surprise hit film. And when we say the Portokalos family is back, we mean the entire family, including John Corbett and star and writer Nia Vardalos.

The first Big Fat Greek Wedding ended with Toula and Ian having a daughter, Paris (now played by Elena Kampouris), but this movie isn’t about Paris’s wedding -- she’s still too young, though we may get a big, fat Greek prom.

Instead, it’s Gus (Michael Constantine) and Maria (Lainie Kazan) who learn that the priest who officiated their wedding forgot to sign their wedding license. Thus, the family sets out to throw a bigger, fatter, Greekier wedding.

We just have one question: Where’s the Windex?

“Even though we've remained friends over the years and gone for dinners together and seen each other, when we had the table read...it was the first time we were all in the same room [and] I just cried,” Vardalos told ET about the emotional reunion.

“I thought, ‘Wow. I had said no for so long to doing the sequel.’ But you really know when it's time, because I feel right about it now,” she added.

So what makes it the right time now?

“As you know from my book [Instant Mom], I had written I was a mom at the end of My Big Fat Greek Wedding, but the struggle to become a mom was so difficult for me that there was no way I could do the sequel directly after the film because I was in a private, secret hell of trying to become a mom,” she revealed to us. “Then I got to adopt my daughter. I'm so grateful I couldn't have a biological child, because she's my daughter. I'm thrilled that what happened happened to me. It healed my brain. And I thought, ‘Oh! It is time to write about what it's like to be a mom.’ And that's why I wrote the sequel.”
