'Walking Dead' Star Alanna Masterson Gives Birth to First Child

Alanna Masterson is officially a mom!


The Walking Dead
actress gave birth to her first child with her boyfriend, Brick Stowell. The baby's gender and name have yet to be announced.

Masterson, who plays Tara Chambler on the AMC series, took to Instagram late Thursday to share the exciting news. "We did it. @brickstowell," the 27-year-old captioned a photo of her and Stowell locking lips.

On Friday, Stowell shared a photo of their baby's tiny foot up against one of his hands.

Leading up to the birth of their little bundle of joy, the cute couple shared updates over the social media site.

"Been awake for days," Masterson captioned a snap of herself lying in bed with two bottle emojis.

Preparing for parenthood, Stowell posted a photo of himself inside the hospital wearing full-on scrubs.

Masterson announced they were expecting in July, posting a photo of her baby bump to Instagram with the caption, "Guess what...?��? @brickstowell."

Aside from Masterson's baby news, fans of her show were thrilled to learn that The Walking Dead was picked up for a seventh season late last month. The network also renewed the live after-show, Talking Dead, hosted by Chris Hardwick.

As ET previously reported, season six left fans with one big question: Will Glenn (Steve Yeun) still be around for the next season?
