Who's better at being a star than Oprah Winfrey?

The 61-year-old Queen of Talk was presented with Entertainment Tonight's Icon Award for over 35 years of being a beloved celebrity, and revealed what responsibilities go along with being famous.

"The true purpose of it is to have the light shined on you so that other people can see that, and then see that in themselves," Oprah said of her celebrity status. "So, that which is worthy of celebrating is also worthy of being incorporated and celebrated within yourself. That's what it's for. It's to say, 'This is how it can be done.'"

Oprah expressed gratitude to receive ET's honor. "Wow! Thank you. This one I will treasure," she gushed. "I will really treasure this."

Oprah recently launched a new show on OWN called Belief that takes an emotional, empowering and inspirational look at the mysteries of existence. She admitted to ET that this series has been a challenge for her.

"Life is about trying to grow yourself to whatever is the next level," she shared. "So this Belief series is the next level for me."
