John Legend says wife Chrissy Teigen's cravings haven't changed all that much since expecting!

The musician told ET's Sophie Schillaci at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on Wednesday that his wife may have developed a bit of a sweet tooth, but mostly it's the same old Chrissy!

"It's not that different," he revealed of her cravings. "I think she likes sweets a little more than she used to but other than that... She likes to eat, and we have a little baby to eat for too."

When it comes to the kitchen hierarchy, John said, Chrissy, who has a food blog, and a cookbook due out in February, is the boss.

"She's the head chef but I'm her sous chef," he said. "And I'm in charge of breakfast usually as well."

This will be the first child for the expectant couple, who have been married for two years. They appeared together Wednesday for the Shining a Light concert to raise awareness for race issues in America. John performed with Bruce Springsteen at the event, which also featured sets by Jill Scott, Nicki Minaj, Tom Morello, and more. John told Sophie that he hopes to bring up his child learning about racial equality.

"Part of its just by example," he explained. "Showing that you love your neighbor, and not just your neighbor next door, but your neighbor across town, and across the world."

"Teaching them what it means to love one another," the 36-year-old continued. "I think if you start your kids with that, love, and kindness, and being inquisitive, and caring about visiting other places, I think all that helps develop empathy. Hopefully if all kids have empathy, then we're in good shape."

For now, John said he hoped the concert, and music, would serve as a uniting force amid all of the racism and divide that still exists in America today.
