Adele is back in a big way.

We knew Adele's latest studio album, 25, was going to be major -- but now we're really starting to see exactly how major this historic release will be.

The 27-year-old has officially broken *NSYNC's massive single-week U.S. album sales record in just four days with more than 2,433,000 albums sold, according to Nielsen Music via Billboard. *NSYNC had previously set the bar more than a decade ago, selling 2,416,000 copies of No Strings Attached in the week ending March 26, 2000.

"In all honesty, Adele is the truth -- kinda excited a rare talent like hers is in the same breath as our group. I'm a huge fan," former *NSYNC member Joey Fatonetold Billboard on Tuesday. "I even bought the damn album."

But Adele is just getting started! The trade also reports that industry forecasters are predicting a whopping 2.9 million copies of 25 sold by the end of the week. (For context: Last week's No. 1 album, Justin Bieber's Purpose, sold 649,000 copies.)

Aside from the fact that Adele is pretty much a universally loved global treasure, the songstress has been busy promoting her new album on a non-stop, headline-generating media blitz -- and we're loving every second!

Most recently, Adele stopped by The Tonight Show on Monday to perform "Water Under the Bridge," take on host Jimmy Fallon in a game of Box of Lies, and freak out a little bit about Rihanna.

"I am on the edge, living life on the edge waiting for [Rihanna's new album]" Adele joked. "I'm the biggest RiRi fan. I love her."

Later that night, Adele was spotted squad-ing it up with Emma Stone and Jennifer Lawrence (holy funniest squad ever!) in New York City.

Meanwhile, over at Jimmy Kimmel Live in Los Angeles, Adele's latest single, "Hello," set the tone for Harrison Ford and Chewbacca to bury the hatchet after a lengthy "feud."

Turns out, Adele doesn't even have to be in the same room for her content to go viral. YouTube star Anthony Vincent of Ten Second Songs put his signature twist on "Hello," performing it in 25 different musical styles over the course of five minutes. It's epic -- watch below.

Even Matthew McConaughey caught a case of Adele fever, dressing as the pop star and saving Thanksgiving in a hilarious Saturday Night Live sketch over the weekend. See the moment below!
