Paltrow, 43, took to Instagram to share a photo from their festive celebrations, captioning it, "Happy Thanksgiving from us to you!" This snap marks the first photo the former couple has shared of themselves together since announcing their divorce and subsequent "conscious uncoupling" in March 2014.

That wasn't their only celebration of the day, however. Martin, 38, gave fans a treat by debuting a new song off his band's upcoming album, A Head Full of Dreams. The new track, titled "Everglow," features Paltrow's vocals.

Martin revealed on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 radio show on Thursday that "Everglow," the second single off the album following "Adventure of a Lifetime," was inspired by his trip to the ocean and his conversation with "this surfer guy."

"He was like, 'Yo dude, I was doing this thing the other day, man. It gave me this total everglow,'" Martin explained. "I was like, 'What an amazing word!' Then the song came completely out. To me, it's about -- whether it's a loved one or a situation or a friend or a relationship that’s finished, or someone's passed away -- I was thinking about, after you've been through the sadness of something, you also get this everglow. That's what it's about."

The band also revealed the full video for "Adventure of a Lifetime," featuring Martin and his bandmates dressed as chimps, exclusively on Facebook. According to a press release, the video took six months to create.
