The youngest Kardashian sister opened up in a personal video on her app
about how she keeps it all together through the challenges life throws her way.
"Sometimes a little ice cream helps when you are down in the dumps," Khole, 31, explains. "But you know what? Music is a mood changer. If I am sad and I listen to something sad, a love song or whatever, I am going to be sadder and cry."
"And sometimes you need a good cry, but you cannot sit balled up in a corner and just 'woe is me,'" she continued.
We’d wouldn’t blame Khloe if she simply needed a good cry this year. She’s had to balance a relationship with her boyfriend
, James Harden, and estranged husband, Lamar Odom, who still has months of recovery to go after nearly dying in October, to dealing with her own health with a recent staph infection
– the star admits she had to find an outlet — so she hit the gym.
"I work out so much better when I am sad or upset. I have so much energy when I am angry," she shared.
Khloe’s advice for fans having a hard time?
"So, either go to the gym, watch a funny movie, watch some good light-hearted TV, or call one of your girlfriends that always make you laugh."
On Saturday she even posted a throwback pic to the last time she worked out — back on Sept. 27.
"This picture was taken on September 27th. Not that long ago, right?!?! I have not worked out since the beginning of October due to a slew of reasons. It's crazy, how just in that short amount of time how your body can change. I NEED the gym in my life!!! Lol My mind and body don't respond well without the gym!! Not feeling cute right now but still cuter than most," she wrote on the Instagram post.
Despite her hardships, Khloe has her family’s support to be thankful for. The reality star welcomed the large brood into her home for an amazing Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday. Get all the details from the festive meal below.
