Barry Manilow and Scarlett Johannsson are making music magic -- and it's all thanks to Jimmy Kimmel!

The late-night talk show host called up Barry Manilow, aka the man who "writes the songs that make the whole world sing," to enlist his help for a catchy jingle.

The song is to inspire people to make purchases or give donations to the (RED) Shopathon, a month long holiday shopping extravaganza launching on World AIDS Day, Dec.1 2015.

Manilow was happy to help, but there was only one catch: "I need a muse," the singer requested. "Someone to inspire me. I need someone with glamour and style."

Enter, Scarlett Johannsson. Once Kimmel suggested that the Avengers actress to be the voice of the song, Manilow and Johansson became the perfect musical pairing.
