Tina Knowles Calls Jay Z the 'Son I Never Had' In Sweet Birthday Message
There is no love like a mother’s love -- just ask Tina Knowles.
Many A-listers sent birthday wishes to Jay Z as he celebrated turning 46 on Friday, but the note from his mother-in-law may have topped them all.

“Happy Birthday to my handsome, brilliant, loving son. The son i never I had, but I have now. I love you Mama,” Tina wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post.
The “Empire State of Mind” rapper also acknowledged his birthday on social media, sharing a photo of the amazing mountain view he had on Dec. 4 as he thanked his fans “for the love” on Twitter.

We also can’t be sure why Mama Knowles deleted her sweet tribute to Hova, but it’s not a huge surprise since the family is notoriously private.
