The 'Jackass' star says he's ready to start his 30-day day sentence at the Twin Towers Correction Facility in L.A.

Jackass star Steve-O is ready and excited to start his jail sentence.

The 41-year-old stuntman, whose real name is Stephen Glover, shared a video of himself doing a backflip in front of the Twin Towers Correction Facility in Downtown Los Angeles on Wednesday.

"Here I am at jail. See ya when I see ya, folks!" Steve-O captioned the video, in which you can hear him scream, after successfully landing the backflip, "I'm ready, let's go!"

The infamous daredevil is set to spend 30 days behind bars, and then an additional 36 months on probation, for a high-profile stunt he pulled off in August which he scaled a 10-story construction crane in Hollywood, set off fireworks, and inflated a plastic killer whale with the words "SeaWorld Sucks" written on the side in duct tape.

More than 80 firefighters were called to the scene after Steve-O's stunt was reported by some on-lookers as a possible suicide attempt.

The stunt was part of an on-going protest against the San Diego theme park that Steve-O has been leading for a number of years.

However, Steve-O recently explained his arrest and jail sentence has generated more publicity for his cause than any previous instances of activism that he's engaged in.

"Considering I've become a clean and sober, dog-rescuing vegan, I must say I'm ready to go to jail -- not just because it will bring so much attention to the plight of orcas in captivity, but because it's nice to let people know I haven't lost my edge," Steve-O wrote in an Instagram post in October. "What can I say? I'm a jackass."

"My whole crane-climbing, fireworks debacle really turned out to be pretty meaningful in the end, too," Steve-O continued. "I mean, if your goal is to make a statement about captivity, you may as well get yourself locked up!"

Steve-O was previously arrested last December for vandalism when he added the word "sucks" after the words "SeaWorld" to a freeway sign in San Diego.
