That was fast!

Well, that was fast!

Former Jackass star Steve-O was released from prison after less than nine hours on Thursday, after being sentenced to 30 days behind bars for when he scaled a 10-story construction crane in Hollywood, set off fireworks, and inflated a plastic killer whale with the words "SeaWorld Sucks" in protest of the embattled aquatic theme park this past August.

The 41-year-old posted a photo with his dog to celebrate his fast freedom, writing, "After taking a hilarious mug shot, I wound up spending less than eight hours in jail. Thanks to all of the good people at Twin Towers Correctional Facility for making my stay a great one. #yeahdude #SeaWorldSucks."

The reason for Steve-O's quick release is that under current release criteria for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, anyone sentenced for less than 120 days is immediately released, due to prison over crowding, according to The Los Angeles Times.

On Friday, the stuntman posted another pic after his release, writing, "This is the first tattoo I ever did (on anyone other than myself). I'm so happy to be free and have gotten the chance to see it this morning..."
