"This is the cherry on top of my entire life," he told ET. "I said when I was a little kid I wanted to be in a Disney movie, but this tops that."

The day before his Disneyland excursion, the actor's 44-year-old wife, Arlene Silver-Van Dyke, organized a Mary Poppins-themed flash mob at Los Angeles shopping center The Grove in his honor. Van Dyke famously played Bert and Mr. Dawes Sr. in the classic 1964 Disney musical film.

After the crowd performed their chimney sweep moves to "Step in Time," "Jolly Holiday," "Chim Chim Cher-ee" and "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious," Van Dyke joined them in singing "Let's Go Fly a Kite."
