Jennifer Lawrence almost propositioned an unavailable man.

On Tuesday's Late Night, the Oscar winner admitted to Seth Meyers that when she first hosted Saturday Night Live in January 2013, and Meyers was working there, she wanted to ask him out.

"I had a really big crush on you," Lawrence sheepishly confessed to the late-night host, adding that she had created a "delusional" romance between them in her head.

The Joy star had decided to ask him out before she learned that he was off the market. "And thank god I talked to the wardrobe lady and I was like, 'I think I'm going to ask Seth Meyers out. I'm going to give him my number.' And she was like, 'Honey, he's engaged.'"

The 25-year-old actress also talked about her big crush on 68-year-old comedian Larry David, and how he never called her after she gave him her number. "I texted Amy [Schumer] the other night because I was drinking wine and I was randomly watching Curb Your Enthusiasm," she told Meyers. "I said, 'I have so many sexual and boyfriend, marriage feelings for Larry David, I feel like I'm going to be sick.'"

Meyers joked, "I'm feeling a little bit less awesome about the crush now."

The host then asked about Lawrence's first onscreen sex scene, which takes place with Chris Pratt in their upcoming movie, Passengers. "With sex scenes, you don't know what to do. For one, you're like, 'Is it enough?'" she explained. "Your worst nightmare is it's too much! Are they gonna be like, 'Whoa, whoa, whoa!'"

Lawrence is campaigning hard for Schumer to win a Golden Globe this year, and was eager to talk about her friend while on Late Night. She also opened up to ET about going up against the Trainwreck star, as both women are nominated for Best Actress.
