Santa Claus got a makeover!
Will Ferrell showed up on Wednesday's Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and declared that he was the new, hipper version of Kris Kringle. Dressed in red and white board shorts and a Santa-esque tank top, the bleached blond Santa "made it snow" up in the New York City studio with his T-shirt gun.
"The Kris Kringle we all grew up with is old and lame. Dude looks like someone's weird grandpa," Ferrell joked. "Kids today are demanding a newer, more hipper, more badass Santa Claus. So, uh, you're welcome!"
The Daddy's Home star did keep to one tradition when he asked audience members what they wanted for Christmas -- however, instead having them sit on his lap, he sat on theirs.
It got even more bizarre when Ferrell sat on Fallon and started bragging about his triceps. The two then decided to "give the greatest gift of all: the gift of song." To the tune of Smashmouth's "All Star," Fallon and Ferrell performed "Santa's Coming to Town."
Viewers never know what to expect when Ferrell shows up on The Tonight Show. After this year's Super Bowl, the 48-year-old comedian's hilarious rendition of Beyonce's "Drunk In Love" quickly went viral. Check it out:
