Sarah Palin Tries to Impersonate Tina Fey in '31 Rock' and...Well, Watch for Yourself!

Onetime politician Sarah Palin is finally firing back at Tina Fey, showing off her impression of the former Saturday Night Live star in a 30 Rock parody. Palin plays Lynn Melon -- get it? -- and tries her best, maybe, to scream “NERDS!” as well as Fey did.

But...we’re still not sure why this exists? It plugs Palin’s book, Sweet Freedom: A Devotional, which came out last month -- so maybe it’s an ad for that? Why is John McCain playing the Alec Baldwin part, though? Why is the real Dot Com (Kevin Brown) even in this?

We have to assume it’s no coincidence that it came out mere days after Fey reprised her Palin impression on SNL opposite Amy Poehler as Hillary Clinton:
