Who says Christmas can't feel a lot like Halloween?

Neil Patrick Harris happily celebrated the holidays with his family -- husband David Burtka and 5-year-old twins, Gideon and Harper -- and the trio gifted him with some amazing presents on Friday.

The clear winners were two "haunted" portraits of his kids.

"Two of my top three gifts today. My children + Haunted Mansion = squee!" Harris captioned the video, where he not only shows off the trick portraits but also let's out a manic laugh at the end.

Not only were the gifts amazing (and seriously, how cool are those?), the 42-year-old actor held them up while wearing a Santa hat.

NPH for all the wins. Always. Although we do want to know what that third top gift was...

The Best Time Ever host has been sharing festive updates from his family all month long. Two weeks ago, we caught the first glimpses of the Harris-Burtka household’s Christmas tree:

Then last week, we were graced with an adorable video of Harper and Gideon excitedly pointing out the wrapped presents that had their names on them:

But the cutest video of all was definitely the one Harris shared on Christmas Eve, where all four wished fans a "merry Christmas Eve," with Gideon adding a precious, sing-song "happy holidays" for good measure. If Harris' giggle at the end doesn't make you smile, nothing will:

So what was in those boxes, you’re wondering? Well, Gideon was gifted a robot that attacks his dads…

… and Harper displayed two chirping birds that compete to see if Daddy or Papa is the best.

Good luck with that one, Harper!

And just because we can never get enough of the blonde tots, we'll leave you with the abstract gingerbread cookie that Gideon baked for Christmas:

Seriously, this family.

You'd think their Halloween would have been equally as spooky, but the cute quad actually dressed up like a lot of other famous families this year -- in Star Wars gear! Watch the video below to see how the force is with NPH and company.
